PAYPAL secure online payments
PAYMENT We accept UK PayPal* for secure online payments. Add the items you would like to buy to the shopping cart, and once you reach the checkout you can either finish the transaction using your own PayPal account, or by entering your credit/debit card details. If you prefer not use online payment cheques and postal orders are also accepted as payment from customers in the UK only. Please contact us with the items you would like to purchase and for further instructions.
*If you are using a UK Paypal from abroad we will contact you to advise the additional postage. You can choose if you wish to go ahead with order.
DELIVERY All orders are sent RECORDED DELIVERY with a standard postage and packaging charge of £5.
All orders placed are dispatched within two working days (Monday – Friday) of your order. Our standard postage is for UK deliveries only*. We use Royal Mail to deliver items and are not responsible for any delays which occur once parcels have been dispatched. If you have not received an order sent recorded delivery within 15 working days please contact us and we will file a lost item complaint to determine what has happened.
*We can arrange international delivery for an extra postage cost determined by weight.
We will contact you and give you all the options if you place an order from outside of the UK.
CANCELLING AN ORDER If you wish to cancel your order you need to contact us as soon as possible by phone or email to make us aware of this. We often post items very quickly and cancellation is not possible if you order has been packaged or dispatched, in this case you can return your order in accordance with our returns policy.
A DIFFERENT DELIVERY ADDRESS When placing your order just let us know if you would like the delivery address to be different to the invoice address.
RETURNS We want you to be delighted with your order! If you do have any problems please contact us and we can arrange to fix or exchange them for you. If you do need to return an item for any reason, please email quoting your invoice number as soon as possible, and return the goods in their original packaging via post, enclosing the completed returns slip at the bottom of the invoice. Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of goods. A Room in my House Ltd cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in the post. Items are the customers responsibility until they are received and we recommend sending them by registered delivery. Postage charges are non-refundable. ORDER ACCEPTANCE Please note that order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the products ordered, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with our 'Cancelling an Order' procedure. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
• The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
• Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
• The identification of a pricing or product description error
FREE POSTAGE WHEN YOU ORDER ABC OF ANIMALS IN LONDON
We are pleased to announce that with any order you place with us, if you add our book ABC of ANIMALS in London to your order, you will qualify for FREE postage. Our standard £5 postage fee will automatically be added at the checkout, but within 24 hours of order confirmation we will refund the £5 postage fee.
